Texas Tech Residence Halls Association Sponsors Event to Support Haiti Relief

WHAT: Texas Tech CARES: Helping Haiti
WHEN: 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday and Friday (Jan. 21- 22)
WHERE: Free Speech Area located outside of the Student Union Building, 15th Street and Akron Avenue.
EVENT: Texas Tech Residence Halls Association (RHA) will collect donations to help those suffering in Haiti. Event organizers also will hand out red, yellow and blue ribbons for people to wear in support of Haiti. The Texas Tech community is encouraged to wear red on Friday to show support for on-going relief efforts.
The RHA serves as the voice for those students who live within the residence halls on campus. RHA provides many programs and activities to enhance the living environment in the residence halls and to encourage the exchange of ideas.
