"DanceTech: Artistry in Motion" includes both undergraduate and graduate students and is directed by faculty members Genevieve Durham DeCesaro and Ali Duffy.
The Department of Theatre and Dance presents “DanceTech: Artistry in Motion,” featuring original choreography by the dance faculty and guest artist Sara Tourek at 8 p.m. Jan. 28-30 and 2 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Maedgen Mainstage Theatre.
Designed to highlight the work of the student choreographers as well as the dancers cast, “Artistry in Motion” will showcase a variety of dance genres including contemporary jazz, classical, hip hop and modern. The show includes both undergraduate and graduate students in the department and is directed by award-winning choreographers and faculty members Genevieve Durham DeCesaro and Ali Duffy.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students with a valid Texas Tech ID. While audience members of all ages are welcome to attend, some works contain adult content. For more information, call the Maedgen Theatre box office at (806) 742-3603.
