Melissa Range to speak on "Becoming a 'Religious' Poet"

Her first book, 'Horse and Rider,' will be published this spring as winner of the Texas Tech University Press's Walt McDonald Prize.

On Tuesday, Oct. 27, this autumn's Stark Visiting Writer, Melissa Range, will present a public lecture, "Battlements of Straw: Becoming a 'Religious' Poet," at 7 p.m. in Lynch Auditorium.

Her first book, "Horse and Rider," will be published this spring as winner of the Texas Tech University Press's Walt McDonald Prize.
