It's Not Too Late to Participate in the State Employee Charitable Campaign

Since 1994, the combined contributions by university, system, and health sciences center employees have exceeded $7,400,000 and made a tremendous difference in the Lubbock community.

SECC Campaign

From charities that fund everything from animal shelters to environmental issues, the SECC campaign has something for everyone.

A Message from President Guy Bailey

Great news! We’ve reached nearly 70% of our goal of $445,000 for this year’s State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC). Download the most recent progress report.

If you have not already made a gift, there is still time for you to make a difference in the lives of those in our community who are in special need. With your help, we can reach, and possibly exceed, our goal by the end of the campaign which continues until November 2nd.

We can be proud that the campaign has grown so much in just seven years - we are now the third-most generous group of state employees in the nation, giving more than $6 million for charities in 2000. It's not hard to see why employees of the Friendship State have responded so enthusiastically:

  • It's an easy, effective and cost-efficient way to give to charity.
  • Our contributions help improve the quality of life for people in communities locally, across the country and around the world.
  • The campaign supports a wide variety of vital health and human services.
  • All charities in the campaign must meet strict eligibility criteria.

Thank you again for your support of this year’s campaign. To participate, download a pledge form and/or contact your SECC coordinator. For more information, visit the Texas Tech SECC Web site at
