Texas Tech University will host Halloween events for community members this week.

Family Friendly Halloween Activities

Texas Tech Athletics will host a trick-or-treating event Wednesday (Oct. 28) in the concourse of the United Spirit Arena prior to and after the volleyball game against Nebraska. The game begins at 6:30 p.m. and doors open at 5:30 p.m. Fans wearing costumes will receive free admission at the game.

Texas Tech’s Residence Halls Association will sponsor its annual SafeTreat event from 6-8 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 29). Each residence hall will provide carnival type events, activities and candy. The Boo Bus will be available from 6-8 p.m. to pick families up and drop them off at the various residence hall locations. (View a campus map here.)

The Texas Tech Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils are co-sponsoring Greek Treat from 4-6 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 29) at Greek Circle, located on Quaker Avenue between Eighth and 15th Streets.

And finally, the National Ranching Heritage Center will host the 3rd annual Heritage Halloween event on Friday (Oct. 30) from 4-7 p.m. The NRHC is located at 3121 Fourth Street. Trick-or-treaters can fill their bags with period-correct treats as they visit historic structures.
