LUBBOCK, Tex.— An American professor says he has proof that the massive meteorite that killed the dinosaurs actually crash-landed off India’s west coast.

Sankar Chatterjee, a paleontology professor at Texas Tech University, said work done by a research team of Indians and Americans, working with information released by the companies operating in the area, has provided the strongest evidence to date that this was the spot were the dinosaur-killer hit.
