Tech hosts Fiesta University for Prospective Students

Also on Tech's campus Saturday, hundreds of prospective Red Raiders.

More than 3,000 people grace the campus during it's back to school Fiesta University.

Free school supplies, food and plenty of college resources available during the event. Organizers say the fiesta is not just for students, but for the entire family.

Jobi Martinez with Tech's Cross Cultural Academic Advancement Center says many people got to sit in on workshops for majors, exploring engineering, and journalism and plenty of other activities. While also learning about financial aid, scholarships and other resources.

Senator Robert Duncan and former US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales were both on hand for this recruiting opportunity. The days theme: "Your future is so bright, you need shades."
