Competing for top honors

Sgt. 1st Class Corey J. King achieved the honor of  U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command’s (TRADOC) Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) of the Year for 2009.

King, the son of Deborah Poston of El Dorado, serves as a military instructor with the Army’s Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) battalion on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

“I am extremerly honored to have been selected as the 2009 TRADOC NCO of the Year,” said King. “I have competed against some truly fine NCOs throughout this year.”
