Texas Tech Business Student Awarded Texas Business Hall of Fame Scholarship

Kara Neff will receive a $10,000 scholarship from the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
A Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration graduate student will receive
a $10,000 scholarship for 2009 from the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
Kara Neff, who is attending Texas Tech to obtain an MBA with a concentration in entrepreneurship,
will be awarded the scholarship on October 15 during a luncheon ceremony at the Hilton
Americas in Houston.
Her scholarship is one of 15 awarded by the hall of fame to future entrepreneurs and
leaders who will keep Texas at the cutting edge in business, exhibit leadership qualities
in academic and campus activities, and with good academic credentials.
Neff received her bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in business from the
University of Texas in Austin.
