The sixth edition of ATNT-09 (Advances in Textiles, Machinery, Nonwovens and Technical Textiles) is scheduled between December 7 and 9 at the Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT) campus in Sathyamangalam.
This international conference is being organised jointly by the US-based Texas Tech University and BIT.
The conference would focus on finding solutions to some of the difficulties faced by the Indian textile industry and provide information on new market opportunities for global players, states a BIT release.
Industry and academic experts from across the globe are expected to deliberate on value-added textiles. The major thrust would be to bring industry, academia and government agencies on a single platform.
