Texas Tech Hospitality Services Employees Elected to Office With National Food Service

Two Texas Tech University Hospitality Services’ employees were sworn into office
during the 51
st Annual National Association of College and University Food Services
(NACUFS) National Conference, which was held July 10 in Milwaukee.
Sam Bennett, assistant vice president of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management and
director of
Hospitality Services, became national president of the organization. Kirk Rodriguez, associate director
for retail sales, took office as president of the organization’s Southern region.
“Texas Tech Hospitality Services is proud to be a part of NACUFS because of our shared
goals,” Bennett said. “The drive of NACUFS is to promote the highest quality of foodservice
on school, college and university campuses by providing members with educational and
training opportunities, technical assistance, scholarships, industry information and
research.”
