Local robots have a way to go

The Abilene campus of the Texas Tech University College of Engineering has a team of four Nao robots made by the French company Aldebaran Robotics. Each robot costs between $4,000 and $5,000, said Mohan Sridharan, an assistant professor at the Abilene campus. Sridharan and his students work on the robots' programming daily.
