Events gives high school students a chance to explore the university.
Texas Tech University will host hundreds of high school students on University
Day March 2. The day is an opportunity for prospective students, families and friends
to see first-hand what the university has to offer.
“This is a day that provides prospective students an opportunity to see what Texas
Tech has to offer,” said Ethan Logan, managing director of the Office of Undergraduate
Recruitment & Admissions.
Most importantly, University Day is designed for prospective students to meet one-on-one
with faculty, staff and students.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. March 2, in the United Spirit Arena, followed by
a welcome from the Court Jesters, the spirit squads and other guest speakers.
During the day, visitors will have a chance to attend academic information sessions,
campus and housing tours, student services and organization fairs.
