Texas lawmakers honor the Picks

The little-known backup singers to Buddy Holly are finally getting some recognition.

"We have lived in the shadows for a long time," 75-year-old John Pickering said. "The Crickets didn't sing. We were the ghost voices in the studio."

The three were students at Texas Tech University when they recorded with Holly in 1957 and 1958.
