Classes Cancelled Effective at 3 p.m.

Texas Tech University classes have been canceled and the Lubbock campus closed, including administrative and system offices, for the remainder of Jan. 27 as of 3 pm this afternoon due to icy weather. Offices will continue to operate with minimum staffing until normal closing hours. Operations and emergency services personnel will remain on duty. University officials will continue to monitor the conditions throughout the evening. Stay tuned to local media and www.ttu.edu/emergency for information on when classes will resume.
