Fashion Show will Feature Texas Tech Students’ Designs

WHAT: Treasured Hearts Treat Yourself Benefit Fashion Show WHEN: 7 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 15) WHERE: Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts (511 Ave. K) EVENT: A group of apparel design and manufacturing students at Texas Tech University will have their creations modeled at the Treat Yourself Benefit Fashion Show hosted by Treasured Hearts of Lubbock. Treasured Hearts is an organization committed to assisting parents who have lost an infant. The organization was formed by a group of nurses at University Medical Center. Tickets for the fashion show are $15, or $10 with a college ID. All proceeds from the fashion show will benefit those who lack funds for burial or funeral services for their infant. Donations also can be made to the UMC Foundation in support of the Treasured Hearts project.
