Texas Tech Takes Nominations for Community Champion for Education

The Texas Tech University Back to School Fiesta Day Steering Committee is taking nominations for its 2008 Community Champion for Education.

The Texas Tech University Back to School Fiesta Day Steering Committee is taking nominations for its 2008 Community Champion for Education.

The award recognizes individuals or entities that have championed the cause for education in and around Lubbock, and recipients are honored at the annual Texas Tech Back to School Fiesta.

Nominees cannot be a member of the faculty or staff at Texas Tech University or Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, but can be employed by other education institutions.

Submissions are due by July 1.
