Registration underway for local Autism Awareness Month event
WHAT: Hands for Hope 2008: A Walk for Autism
WHEN: 2 p.m. April 13
WHERE: Willie McCool Track and Field, Coronado High School, 34th Street and Vicksburg
EVENT: The Burkhart Center for Autism Education and Research at Texas Tech University
will host its annual fundraising walk. Proceeds raised will benefit a $12 million
building fund campaign to provide a permanent home for the Burkhart Center and a residential
village for adults with autism.
Participants may register and pay entry fees individually or as a team online at www.burkhartcenter.org.
Registration forms also may be submitted by mail to the Burkhart Center for Autism
