Bradford, English join Jazz Ensemble for Black History Spectacle

Brad Leali, director of jazz studies at the Texas Tech School of Music, was aware
that Tech already contributes a concert every February.
This year, however, he wanted to make Black History Month even more special.
He has asked a pair of professional artists - vocalist Carmen Bradford and pianist Paul English - to co-headline with Leali's Tech Jazz Ensemble I at 8 p.m. Friday at the Tech Student Union's Allen Theatre.
