Texas Tech system OKs dorm project

Let the construction begin.


That’s how former student body president Alex Yarbrough summed up his feelings when he heard Angelo State University got the green light to begin the Centennial Village project.


As expected, the Texas Tech University System board of regents Thursday authorized ASU to proceed with construction of the new $28.2 million, 526-bed residence hall on the ASU campus.
