Today’s Christopher Gardner Speech Moves Venue to Allen Theatre

moves venues.
WHAT: Christopher Gardner on "Happyness"
WHEN: 2 p.m. today (April 26)
WHERE: Allen Theatre in the Student Union Building on Texas Tech Campus, 15th
Street and Akron Avenue.
EVENT: Today’s Presidential Lecture & Performance Series presentation by "The
Pursuit of Happyness" author Christopher Gardner will move to the Allen
Theatre.
Gardner was scheduled to be the featured speaker at last night's Mentor
Tech Banquet, but travel delays prevented him from arriving in time to
address the Mentor Tech audience. To accommodate a larger audience,
Gardner's presentation today for the Presidential Lecture & Performance
Series will move from the Business Auditorium to the Allen Theatre.
Community guests for Chris Gardner's talk can be encouraged to park in
the Music Building’s parking lot at 18th Street and Boston Avenue, the
parking garage at 19th Street and Flint Avenue, or in the Merket Center
lot.
The accompanying reception previously planned for the rotunda of the
Business Building will also be moved to the Student Union Building.
