Texas Tech University and South Plains College have a new collaborative program at
South Plains College, the Levalland campus.

Texas Tech University and South Plains College have a new collaborative program that
will be recognized beginning at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, at South Plains College,
the Levalland campus. The meeting will be held in the Founders Room located in the
Student Center Building.
The collaborative program is called STEP2 (Successful Transition to the Educator Preparation
Program) and is funded by the CH Foundation. The program addresses the teacher shortages
facing our state, particularly in high need areas such as math, science, English as
a second language and special education.
South Plains College will provide a buffet lunch. Please RSVP by Tuesday, Jan. 23
