LUBBOCK – Dr. Ginny Felstehausen has received the Outstanding Researcher Award for
the Education and Technology Division of the American Association of Family and Consumer
Sciences.
The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the body
of research related to family and consumer sciences.
Felstehausen, a professor and graduate advisor in Texas Tech’s College of Human Sciences,
has served on 48 doctoral committees and 17 master’s committees. Much of her past
and current research pertains to managing and balancing work and family roles.
She received the award during the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences
97th Annual Conference & Expo, which took place from June 22-25 in Charlotte, N.C.
