LUBBOCK – Texas Tech School of Law officials have announced a partnership with La Trobe University School of Law in Melbourne, Australia. The agreement allows for the exchange of students and faculty and other academic cooperative efforts.
The Exchange and Cooperation Agreement with La Trobe University was finalized earlier this month. The agreement further broadens international opportunities previously available to Texas Tech School of Law students and faculty under existing agreements with law schools in France, Mexico, and Spain.
School of Law professors Dean Pawlowic and Jorge Ramirez were instrumental in negotiating the agreement.
“The La Trobe School of Law has a distinguished history and will provide excellent opportunities for both cultural and educational enrichment,” said School of Law Dean Walter Huffman. “This opportunity further enhances our mission to create international partnerships that will in turn reinforce the quality of education our students receive.”
