BEST BUY CEO, VICE CHAIRMAIN TO SPEAK AT ROUNDTABLE

LUBBOCK - Brad Anderson, vice chairman and chief executive officer of Best Buy Co. Inc., is the featured speaker for this month’s Texas Tech Rawls College of Business’ Chief Executives’ Roundtable on Nov. 8.

Anderson joined the company in 1973 as a salesman and moved up as a manager within the chain, which soon grew into electronics and home appliance retail giant Best Buy. Anderson was named vice president of the company in 1981 and assumed the role of CEO in 2002. He leads nearly 100,000 employees throughout North America.
