No matter where you choose to go, attending college requires a significant financial commitment. At Texas Tech University, the office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships works to make every academic journey affordable by helping students secure the financial aid necessary to attend school.
More than 70 percent of Texas Tech students receive some type of financial aid, which includes scholarships, grants, student loans, private loans, work study and waivers.
"Financial aid funds are part of the solution of how to pay for college," Laura Scott, associate director for internal and external relations, said. "If there's one piece of advice I would give students (it would be) to fill out those FAFSA® (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms every year and do it early."
