City, UTSA Researchers to Begin Creating Formal Climate Action Plan

Rivard Project - University of Texas at San Antonio researchers will spend more than a year formulating a climate mitigation and adaptation plan for the City of San Antonio. The research is being funded by a $500,000 CPS Energy research grant.

Sandoval will speak at the Dec. 7 event alongside keynote speaker Katharine Hayhoe, a climate scientist and director of the Climate Science Center at Texas Tech University. Individuals interested in attending the event may register here.
