Photos Of Past Presidents Restored With Help From Architecture's Print Bureau

The months-long project was overseen by members of Texas Tech's Operations Division.

The portraits of each of Texas Tech's 16 former presidents were recently restored. It was a true team effort, which included the College of Architecture's Print Bureau and Timeless Custom Frames & Art Gallery, a Lubbock-based frame shop. The photos will be on display in the Presidential Suite, located in the Administration Building.

"We definitely wanted to take care of them, preserve them and just take into consideration that these are valuable to Texas Tech," Tabitha Sisson, a facilities information analyst, said. "It was such an awesome opportunity to kind of jump in and be able to restore something so precious to us."
