Texas Tech Launches New 'Locavore' Undergrad Program for Students of Food and Wine

Dallas News - Serious about staking a spot in the local food and wine movement? Texas Tech University has an undergrad degree just for you, with a new concentration in local food and wine production.

"Texas Tech is responding to a national trend of increased consumer interest and demand for local production of food, especially fresh fruits and vegetables," says Ed Hellman, a longtime professor of viticulture and enology at Tech who will head up the new program.
