Lubbock Community Asked to Vote on Next "BIG IDEA"

The Red Raider Idea Competition is hosted by the Innovation Hub at Research Park and runs until Nov. 30.

WHAT: Voting is now open for the Texas Tech University Innovation Hub at Research Park's Red Raider Idea Competition. The competition gives entrepreneurs from the community, students and faculty the chance to pitch their next "BIG IDEA."

WHEN: Through Nov. 30 at midnight

WHERE: Vote online for the best pitch by visiting the competition's website.

ABOUT: Aspiring entrepreneurs from Texas Tech and the West Texas community have created 60-second video pitches for what they believe to be the next "BIG IDEA." The community can now vote for their favorite video pitch.

Contestants are also available to media at this time.

Winners will be awarded the following:

  • First Place: $2,000
  • Second Place: $1,000
  • Third Place: $500

The competition is hosted in partnership with the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance.
