New Law Prevents Sex Offenders From Living in College Dorms

Channel 4 News - Some universities have already set strict guidelines when it comes to registered sex offenders living in campus residence halls, now it's a statewide standard.

Policies have already prohibited sex offenders from living on college campuses for more than a decade.

Those schools include UT Austin, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Texas State University.

There are some that are not too hopeful of how preventative this new law will be because the law keeps sex offenders out of campus dorms but it doesn't stop them from living close to campuses.
