“America’s Real Deal,” an exciting new show airing on NBC next spring, is looking for entrepreneurs with the best businesses and products America has to offer – and it’s looking right here in Lubbock.
Adam Brandley is CEO of “America’s Real Deal” and Independent Stock Market, a group of trained and certified business professionals who introduce liquidity and capital strategies to private business owners and their shareholders. He will speak about entrepreneurship and investing from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday (July 25) at the Texas Tech University Innovation Hub at Research Park, 3911 4th St.
After his presentation, participants will have an opportunity to sign up to pitch their business or product to the casting team on Wednesday. Spots are first come, first served and numbers are limited.
Adam Brandley will be in Lubbock on Tuesday.
“Adam chose to come to Lubbock as he has recently invested in a local company and is franchising it,” said Toni Tillis, event organizer. “He is aware of Lubbock being a hot bed for entrepreneurs and investors, the perfect match for the new show, ‘America’s Real Deal.’”
The Innovation Hub is supporting Lubbock’s entrepreneurial ecosystem with programs like the Texas Tech Accelerator, a one-year program that launches startups based on technologies discovered and developed in Texas Tech University System research laboratories and supports technology developed by entrepreneurs in West Texas.
“We have excellent startups in our Texas Tech University Accelerator. What better location to cast for America’s Real Deal than right here at the Innovation Hub,” managing director Kimberly Gramm said. “We are encouraged to show the rest of the U.S. how great West Texas is for entrepreneurs.”
Brandley is the founder and CEO of Commonwealth Financial Group, LLC. He is a controlling interest holder in many successful ventures in real estate, technology and retail distribution. He has more than 20 years of experience in mergers, acquisitions, consulting and business development, and also gives back to the world as the chairman and trustee for the SOAR Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to youth education, leadership and development. As president and CEO of Independent Stock Market, Brandley leads a team of professionals who offer business owners access to capital by providing liquidity for their personal or corporate stock. This proprietary process also significantly increases the market value of the businesses.
This 40,000 square foot facility is designed to become a resource for the faculty and students of both Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center as well as community members interested in launching new ventures.
As Texas Tech becomes a major national research university, the TTU Innovation Hub at Research Park is a critical step in building the knowledge-based economy of West Texas.
Students are the future of our innovation-based mission. To aid them in developing their entrepreneurial ideas a new student organization, Texas Tech Innovation, Mentorship and Entrepreneurialism (TTIME), has been created and will be housed in the research park. Public-private partnerships will be able to lease space to develop companies within the facility.
The Innovation Hub at Research Park is located at 3911 4th Street, Lubbock, TX, just west of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.Twitter
