Discover Texas Tech: College of Architecture
Founded in 1986, the College of Architecture has program sites in Lubbock, El Paso and Houston. The College is home to roughly 400 undergraduate and 100 graduate students, according to Jim Williamson, dean of the College of Architecture. He says many of those students receive multiple job offers after graduation. In fact, the College has about a 90% job placement rate. Williamson adds that many alumni go on to become award-winning architects and educators who promote architecture at different levels.
"This is a reputation for a very, very strong design school that prepares students for practice," said Williamson. "We have some very noted alumni placed within some of the most prestigious architecture firms in the world."
