Raider Roadshow Heads to El Paso

Prospective students can meet one-on-one with faculty, staff and students.

Raider Roadshow

The Raider Roadshow is a chance for students to explore everything Texas Tech University has to offer without traveling to Lubbock. Deans, associate deans and other representatives from the academic colleges and student services will be in attendance to meet with students. Current Texas Tech students will be on hand to describe the traditions, spirit and campus activities that await students.

“This is a day that provides prospective students from the El Paso area the opportunity to see what Texas Tech has to offer,” said Jamie Hansard, executive director of Undergraduate Admissions.

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. Monday (April 10) at the El Paso Convention Center followed by a welcome from campus administration and other distinguished guest speakers.

Texas Tech is the largest research university in West Texas providing education and support to more than 36,000 students enrolled in more than 150 majors. Texas Tech is the only university system in the state with a comprehensive academic campus, law school, and health sciences center on the same campus. The university’s research programs, in areas such as engineering, agriculture and environmental and human health, impact the lives of everyone in Texas and beyond.
