Final Screening in Cross-Cultural Film Series This Week

"Lion" will be screened Wednesday.

WHAT: Texas Tech University's Cross-Cultural Academic Advancement Center presents "Lion," the final film in its new Cross-Cultural Film Series. "Lion" tells the story of an Indian man searching for his family 25 years after getting lost and being adopted by an Australian couple.

A short discussion will follow the film.

The purpose of the Cross-Cultural Film Series is to exhibit contemporary, award-winning films that focus on issues of diversity and themes of cultural significance.

WHEN: 6 p.m. Wednesday (April 26)

WHERE: COMC Room 055

WHO: The screening is free and open to the public.
