All kids' all the time: PBS offers content that's good for youngsters

The Advocate - Youngsters are now going to be able to get a dose of healthy digital content whenever and wherever they (or more likely their parents) choose.

Louisiana Public Broadcasting is joining PBS in the Monday launch of the PBS Kids channel.

Already young viewer favorites, shows on the channel will include "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood".

A recent study by Texas Tech University found that the highly-rated "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" helps children with social skills like empathy, recognizing emotions and social confidence, a news release says. The animated show is the first series inspired by "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood."
