Texas Tech Meets the Walking Dead in a Game of Humans vs. Zombies

The Humans vs. Zombies student organization is now recruiting for its next match (April 18-23).

In a weeklong game of zombie tag, Texas Tech University students from all different backgrounds will come together April 18-23 for the campus-wide Humans vs. Zombies competition, where students try to stay human as long as possible without turning into a zombie. Each student participating starts off human with a green arm band. The humans use Nerf guns or socks to stun zombies wearing green headbands to tag and turn humans into zombies like themselves.

The game occurs every day during the weeklong event from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with missions occurring every day at 6 p.m.

Registration for the Humans vs. Zombies competition will be April 11-15, and a meet and greet will follow on April 17.
