Climate Science Center Hosts Final Interdisciplinary Seminar of the Semester

Invasive species is the topic of the last discussion panel.

WHAT: The Texas Tech University Climate Science Center will host its final interdisciplinary seminar series panel. The event is sponsored by the Department of Environmental Toxicology.

Three panel experts will discuss invasive species and its relevance to climate science.

The panelists include Steve Presley, a professor in the Department of Environmental Toxicology; Samantha Kahl and Matthew Barnes, assistant professors in the Department of Natural Resources Management.

The discussion is free and open to the public.

The Climate Science Center (CSC) at Texas Tech University conducts interdisciplinary research to address the interactive effects of climate variability across the full array of landscapes within the South Central U.S. We provide the science, tools, and information to link current conditions with regional climate projections, and examine the real-world decision making and planning that can be used to best anticipate, monitor, and adapt to this projected climate change.
