Styrk - Why would North Korea have claimed to have tested a hydrogen bomb earlier this month if it actually tested a lesser bomb?
Experts from Texas Tech weighed in Friday on what the country would have to gain from such claims, and why North Korea rattles its saber from time to time.
Ambassador Tibor Nagy, vice provost for international affairs at Tech, said he believes Friday was Kim Jong-un's birthday.
"This is a nice birthday gift for him," Nagy said.
