WHAT: Texas Tech University Hispanic/Latino Researchers’ Symposium
WHEN: 1-4:15 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 7)
WHERE: Texas Tech University College of Media & Communication, Room 156
EVENT: The Thomas Jay Harris Institute for Hispanic and International Communication will host the first Texas Tech University Hispanic/Latino Researchers’ Symposium. The symposium is designed to bring together faculty and researchers from throughout the university who are focused on Hispanic and Latino issues. Discussions will include areas such as language and literature to community-based research and the roles of school principals.
The event is open to all Texas Tech faculty, staff and students as well as the Lubbock community.
