Hispanic Scholarship Fund's Scholar Chapter to Host Informational Retreat

"It All Starts with an Idea" is an event intended to provide high school students and parents with information on a variety of college topics.

WHAT:          The Scholar Chapter of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund at Texas Tech University is hosting an informational retreat called It All Starts with an Idea. The event will provide college information to high school students and parents on everything from financial aid and scholarships to life on campus.

WHEN:           9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 24)

WHERE:         Student Union Building Red Raider Ballroom

WHO:             The Scholar Chapter of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund is supported by the Cross-Cultural Academic Advancement Center in its efforts to recruit, retain and graduate Hispanic students from Texas Tech.

Lunch will be provided at the informational retreat. Guests may park in lot R07 north of the Student Union Building. Admission is free. RSVP at crosscultural@ttu.edu or (806) 742-8681.
