The Texas Tech Honors College offers students of all majors an opportunity to engage more closely with their professors, experience an intellectually vibrant environment and have access to all the resources of a major research university.

Since becoming its own college in 1999, the Honors College has grown to more than 1300 students and many dedicated faculty. Through the Honors College students have numerous unique pathways to enrich their college experience like study-abroad programs and the ability to apply to the Honors College and the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center simultaneously.

Honors College dean Michael San Francisco says the staff, faculty and advisors within the college are all committed to the students' success.
