Office of International Affairs Hosts 'My Hometown' Photo Exhibit Reception

The exhibit is available to view through Oct. 8.

WHAT:           The Office of International Affairs at Texas Tech University hosts a reception for the “My Hometown” photo exhibit.

WHEN:           4-6 p.m., Tuesday (Sept. 22)

WHERE:         International Cultural Center Galleries, 601 Indiana Ave.

EVENT:          The “My Hometown” photo exhibit was created from submissions from Texas Tech international students. They were asked to submit their five best photos of their hometowns or countries. The subject matter was determined by students, who submitted pictures of landscapes, people, animals and architecture.

The reception celebrates the creativity and pride of the diverse group of photographers. The photographs will be on display from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday through Oct. 8. For a complete list of exhibit participants, visit the “My Hometown” website.

The exhibit is funded in part by a grant from the CH Foundation.
