International Film Series Hosts Final Screening of Spring Semester

“Echoes of War” follows a Civil War veteran who returns home to a conflict between his family and a cattle rancher.

WHAT: The Texas Tech University International Film Series closes its spring semester with a preview of “Echoes of War.”

WHEN: 6 p.m. Wednesday (May 6)

WHERE: Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, 120 W. Loop 289

WHO: Echoes of War” was written and produced by John Chriss, a 2007 Texas Tech graduate, and directed by Kane Senes. The western thriller portrays a Civil War veteran who returns home to the countryside only to find himself caught in a conflict between his family and the cattle rancher harassing them. Chriss will attend the screening.

Seats can be reserved through the Alamo Drafthouse website for $5, which can be exchanged for a $5 food and beverage voucher at the theater.
