WHAT: Texas Tech University’s Masked Rider 60th Anniversary Celebration
WHEN: Noon – 2:30 p.m., Saturday (Sept. 13)
WHERE: Texas Tech University campus – southwest corner of the Engineering Key and Jones AT&T Stadium
Former Masked Riders will return Saturday (Sept. 13) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Texas Tech University’s most notable tradition and will be honored for their time as an ambassador for the university.
A lunch for the former riders and their families is scheduled for noon at the southwest corner of the Engineering Key. Before kickoff of the Texas Tech-Arkansas game, the former riders will be recognized on the football field at Jones AT&T Stadium.
During the lunch, Texas Tech Spirit Program officials along with former riders and current rider Mackenzie White will be available for interviews. If you plan to attend, please contact Spirit Program director Stephanie Rhode beforehand.
