TTUISD Expands Third Annual International Summer Camp

The event is now expanded to two camps to accommodate approximately 180 Brazilian high school students.

WHAT:           Texas Tech University Independent School District (TTUISD) will host the third annual Academic Summer Camp, now expanded to two camps to accommodate approximately 180 Brazilian high school students.

WHEN:           Camp 1: June 28-July 14; Camp 2: July 17-Aug. 2

WHERE:         Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Center at Junction, San Antonio and Austin.

EVENT:          This camp is an effort to recruit international students to Texas Tech while broadening their academic learning experience with TTUISD. Students will participate in academic classes and excursions as they travel across Texas. The first camp will begin in Lubbock and end in Austin while the second camp begins in Austin and concludes in Lubbock.

Students will be available for interviews and photographs while attending classes on the Texas Tech campus from June 28 to July 6 and July 26 to Aug. 2.
