School of Music Presents 38th Annual Scholarship Concert

Admission to the concert is free, and donations will be accepted to support School of Music scholarships.

WHAT:           Texas Tech University’s School of Music hosts the 38th Annual Scholarship Concert.

WHEN:           8 p.m. Saturday (April 26)

WHERE:         Broadway Church of Christ, 1924 Broadway

EVENT:          The concert includes Johannes Brahms’ “Double Concerto for Violin, Violoncello, and Orchestra,” with violin soloist Annie Chalex Boyle, assistant professor, and violoncello soloist Jeffrey Lastrapes, assistant professor.

Texas Tech University Choirs, Symphony Orchestra and the Lubbock Chorale will perform “Dona Nobis Pacem,” a cantata written by Ralph Vaughan Williams in 1936.

Admission to the concert is free, and donations will be accepted to support School of Music scholarships.
