Rawls College of Business Joins Businessweek Rankings

The Rawls College undergraduate programs enter the Top 100 in the country.

“Best Undergraduate Business Schools 2014.”

Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business is ranked No. 83 in the nation by Bloomberg Businessweek’s“Best Undergraduate Business Schools 2014.” The college re-enters the magazine’s ranking list after not being ranked in 2013.

“Everyone involved in the Rawls College is honored to be ranked as a best undergraduate business school, because that is what we strive to be for our students: the best,” said Lance Nail, dean of the college. “The commitment and dedication of our faculty and staff members mirror the effort put in by our students to obtain the education needed to become leading thought leaders in the business world.”

The Rawls College’s rise in rankings signifies the progressive steps made by the college to ensure its students obtain the most from their education and set themselves up for future successes in the professional world.

The rankings are based on student assessment, academic quality, employer opinion, median salary and feeder school, and Bloomberg Businessweekuses survey data from students, employers and schools to help rank the schools.

Rawls College of Business

The Rawls College of Business accounts for about 25 percent of Texas Tech graduates.

The college has a full-time teaching staff of roughly 100 in seven academic areas: accounting; energy, economics and law; finance; health organization management; information systems and quantitative sciences; management; and marketing.

The college offers an accredited weekend MBA for Working Professionals program.
