Texas Tech Hispanic Scholarship Fund Hosts College Chica Workshop

The event helps prepare female high schoolers on their transition to becoming successful college students.
WHAT: College Chica Workshop
WHEN: 1-5 p.m. Friday (March 28)
WHERE: Senate Ball Room, Student Union Building
EVENT: Texas Tech University’s Hispanic Scholarship Fund will host the College Chica Workshop. The event will focus on preparing female high school juniors and seniors on their transition to becoming successful college students.
Several workshops pertaining to college readiness, including application essays, scholarships and financial aid will be available to students and families.
Applications are available in Room 101 of Doak Hall or by request through crosscultural@ttu.edu. Registration is free and deadline to apply is at 5 p.m. on March 26.
