Texas Tech Invites Businesses to Participate in Summit

Businesses and government agencies join to increase business opportunities to foster regional economy.

Event to be held Nov. 13 at Overton Hotel.
Registration deadline for businesses is Sept. 27.

Texas Tech University Procurement Services will host the West Texas Business Summit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Overton Hotel.

The summit brings businesses and state and federal agencies together with the goal of increasing business opportunities in order to foster the regional economy.

Priority deadline for businesses to register for the event is Sept. 27.

The theme of the summit is “Building Strategic Partnerships.” Participants will have the opportunity to interact with other businesses and governmental agencies with common goal of identifying potential business opportunities.

Representatives from the Comptroller of Public Accounts, the General Land Office, Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and Texas Lottery Commission will be in attendance.

Booths are available at four sponsorship levels.

  • Yellow Rose ($2,500) – sponsorship includes preferred booth location, corporate recognition on all event advertising and marketing materials, programs, signage and on attendee bags, inclusion of ad slick and giveaway in attendee bag, and 5 tickets to luncheon and social night
  • Bluebonnet ($1,000) – sponsorship includes prominent booth location, corporate recognition on signage and in conference program, inclusion of ad slick and giveaway in attendee bag, and 3 tickets to luncheon and social night
  • Mockingbird ($500) – sponsorship includes recognition in conference program, inclusion of ad slick and giveaway in attendee bag, and 3 tickets to luncheon and social night
  • Cotton ($125) – sponsorship includes recognition in conference program and 2 tickets to luncheon and social night

The event is open to the public. Admission to workshops and exhibits is free. Tickets for a luncheon during the event are $10.
